I would love to see Kevin direct and star in a Mideval/rennisance reenactors Society for creative anachronism type movie, that takes place on the day of december 21, 2012 when something major happens to the planet and few survive, but the local sca people that happend to have an indoor event for christmas party in costume survive in a huge cave they rented to have their christmas party in. What they do inside during the cataclismic event, and how they come out and make a go of it better for their knowledge of re creating historical devices and arts and crafts and fighting and archery and fishing skills get the country going again like Kevin Costner did in Postman and in Waterworld.
